This precious 4 year old girl had cataract surgery on her right eye during one of our medical mission trips several months before this photo. Prior to surgery, she didn’t even walk or interact with other children due to her severe vision loss. Now, she is a regular, active, kid who loves to run around with her friends and can function independently. You can see the clarity in her right eye, but the white cataract which remains in her left eye, waiting for our return.
