Janee

This is Janee, a local girl we got to know well. She had a crippling illness (spinal atrophy). We brought her to the US for a formal evaluation at UVA and helped to provide her with a mobile chair and supports. Eventually the disease progressed and she passed away several years ago (in her early twenties). Sadly missed by everyone who knew her and her sweet spirit.

As she got older, about a year before she passed, she expressed a desire to see Disney. We raised funds and was able to bring her, her brother, and both parents to Disney (pictured to the right). It was a dream come true for her and so glad we did it.
