Angelo

This is Angelo, a young patient with congenital cataracts. His surgery would have required general anesthesia, something we were not equipped to do. However, we were able to coordinate care with a local Honduran ophthalmologist on the mainland of Honduras and help provide funding to have both cataracts removed. His parents were so grateful that they kept in touch with our team through facebook letting us know how well Angelo was now doing in school.
