The Importance of Eye Health
Cataracts are the leading cause of blindness worldwide, but blindness can be prevented and treated with proper access to eye care. By providing medical and eye care in rural and developing areas, we improve livelihood, productivity, and quality of life.
Better Vision, Better Health
We founded Health In Sight Mission in Roatan over 20 years ago because, despite great need, there was no established eye care on the island and we have since added essential medical care services.
Mission Trips
We are honored to have the support of many talented eye doctors and medical professionals from across the U.S. who join us to help provide care across Roatan. Learn about our recent mission trips.
